KI 0175 Making study literature available in the Literature Kiosk

(updated )
How can I make an article/book chapter available in the Literature Kiosk?

See also the main page about Digital study literature (The Literature Kiosk)
Articles and book excerpts that are to be made available in the Literature Kiosk, need to be added as citations to a reading list and tagged with ‘Litteraturkiosken’ (KI 2550). Note that page numbers (from-to) are obligatory and must be included, as start/end pages, or in a student note (KI 2543). When the list has been submitted to the library (KI 2560), the digitization staff will start processing your request - get copyright clearance (KI 0186) and digitise the desired excerpt.

If you have the book/article available, you can contact the digitisation staff, who may want to borrow it for scanning. If you have a pdf ready, you can add the file to the citation in the reading list, and the library can use it and save time on scanning (this only applies if the excerpt has not been available in the Literature Kiosk earlier). The digitisation staff will contact the owners of the reading list directly if they have questions.

Excerpts need to be copyright cleared for every new course/semester they are used for, but the files can be re-used.

The digitised files are made available for the students continuously up to the start of the semester. It is important to submit the lists as early as possible, and at the latest on the deadline (KI 2559).

NB! If you add a new citation for Litteraturkiosken after the list is processed and published, you have to submit the list again.
If you remove a citation with Litteraturkiosken tag after the list is processed and published, you must notify the digitisation staff.
