KI 2864 Enroll Mac in Intune from Company Portal

Open a browser (e.g. Safari) and go to the website: https://aka.ms/enrollmymac

Permit the download, and the Company Portal app will start downloading automatically.- Install Company Portal
Locate the dowloaded install file (CompanyPortal-Installer.pkg) and install the program:

- Step through the installation process, accept the license, etc.- Enter the local user's password when prompted:

- Open the company portal app (firmaportal in Norwegian)※

- Log in with your UiB account (UiB email address):※
- Click Start and continue through the configuration process:※
- Click "Download profile":※
- System Settings - Profiles will automatically open. Double-click on "Management Profile":※
- The profile will be opened, click "Install..."※
Enter the password for your local user when asked. The profile will then be installed.The enrollment is complete, but it will take some time for all the configuration to get applied (from a few minutes up to 15 minutes)
Check that the configuration is in place
Go to System Preferences - Profiles by searching for the profile in System Settings.- At first, only the "Management Profile" will be visible under Profiles,

- After a few minutes, more profiles should appear:※
#########Important! Leave the computer turned on for an hour to allow all the configuration pieces to fall into place. You are welcome to use the computer in the meantime.
Contact the IT department if any of the steps fail, or the list of profiles does not expand within half an hour.

After the enrollment is completed
og on to the keychain for printersA prompt "macOS - Log in to UIB.NO" will appear, log in with your UiB account (email address), to be able to use UiB's printers.

- Check that the Managed Software Center is installedWithin an hour, the "Managed Software Center" should have been installed.
- Enable FileVault
When you restart the computer the next time, you will be asked to enable FileVault, do this.
